Emily Porter
VP, Engineering & DevelopmentEmily is a technical leader with more than 15 years of experience across radiopharmaceutical manufacturing and the nuclear power industry. She combines deep technical expertise with a practical ability to turn complex, highly regulated opportunities into business-ready solutions. Before joining NuCore Isotopes, Emily served as Director of Engineering and Development at BWXT Medical, where she led a multidisciplinary team of more than 50 professionals. In that role, she oversaw product development, design control, and manufacturing improvements for reactor- and cyclotron-produced nuclear medicine products. Emily began her career at Ontario Power Generation, advancing through roles of increasing responsibility in chemistry, operations, and project management at the Darlington and Pickering nuclear stations. She led modernization projects, supported major refurbishment activities, and collaborated closely with regulators and industry partners. Her broad nuclear industry experience has shaped a disciplined, risk-informed approach to execution. She has worked extensively with regulators, auditors, and industry peer organizations; led corrective action programs; and ensured regulatory commitments were met while delivering large, complex projects on time and on budget. She holds a Master of Engineering from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick. Emily has received industry recognition from EPRI and OPG and has completed training in project management, radiation protection, and leadership development. Outside of her professional work, Emily is an accomplished open-water and cold-water swimmer who represented Team Canada at the 2025 Ice Swimming World Championships.

David Blythe
Chief Executive OfficerWith 23 years of commercial nuclear experience, Mr. Blythe has provided operations, maintenance, and regulatory leadership at multi-unit nuclear generating facilities. He has extensive knowledge of both Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) and Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) technologies and has been involved in managing over 20 refueling and maintenance turnarounds. Furthermore, he has provided senior management leadership in assisting troubled nuclear facilities address Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) concerns and in the development of recovery plans to resolve them. Mr. Blythe founded Monte Cristo Engineering & Development in 2005 and has been instrumental in the development and scale-up of first-of-a-kind (FOAK) technologies. Globally, he has led teams of scientists, engineers, and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms in the implementation of renewable and decarbonization projects. Additionally, he performs technology and project feasibility and due diligence studies for investors and lenders. Mr. Blythe has a BS from Washington State University and a Global Executive MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
